Gossypium arboreum (Tree Cotton)

140 (240)cm, Tree Cotton is an evergreen medium tall woody shrub from the Indian subcontinent and adjacent areas. Gossypium arboreum has lobed leaves and bright pale yellow flowers with small red inner eye, followed by relatively large seed capsules with long white hairs surrounding the seeds. For any rich, very well drained substrate in full sun throughout the year. In winter reduce watering to a minimum and keep plants at a minimum of some 20°C. Seeds are from plants cultivated in Europe. V-IX.
