Sempervivum ruthenicum
8cm ø, species from E Europe (Ukraine and Romania) closely related to Sempervivum zeleborii. Differs in having larger rosettes of pure dark green, densely pubescent leaves and margins with quite large cilia. Makes greenish yellow petals on taller flowering stems than Sempervivum zeleborii. For any well drained soil in full sun. VI-VII.
