10 (20)cm, an almost unknown, very rare Scilla from the Western Canary Islands growing in rich soil in shaded rock crevices. Broadly flat leaf rosette and rose colored racemes with contrasting sky blue miniature flowers. Most decorative bright orange and fleshy seed capsules. Winter growing and flowering. Best grown in a cold greenhouse. Not hardy, minimum +10°C in a sunny spot during winter. USDA Climate Zone 10. XI-II.
