| 2 (4)m, Sweet Thai Salak is a short stemmed, clump forming, decorative palm with ornamental pinnate leaves. It is densely covered with numerous strong, long thorns. The unusual reptile-like reddish brown fruits have a pleasantly sweet creamy yellow pulp. Easily raised in any humus rich soil in partial shade (summer) to full sun (winter).
