20 (30)cm, a small species with brilliant lilac-blue flower on slender stalks. Native of sandy, slightly moist soils from Bokkeveld Mountains to Bredasdorp. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Requires a good winter protection (i.e. dry mulch layer). Best grown in pots under frostfree conditions in a cool greenhouse or wintergarden with reduced watering and a winter minimum of some 5°C. VII-VIII.More Details »
