50 (100)cm, makes an upright elegant stalk topped with bright lemon-yellow flowers. Native of rocky or clay soils from Darling to Plettenberg Bay. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Requires a good winter protection (i.e. dry mulch layer). Best grown in pots under frostfree conditions in a cool greenhouse or wintergarden with reduced watering and a winter minimum of some 5°C.
