It makes most ornamental, large pale pink flowers with a showy dark purple throat. Plants usually will go semi-dormant in summer and shed most of their leaves. With decreasing temperatures in autumn and winter plants will start new growth. Keep slightly drier and preferably rather cool at a minimum of some 10°C in full sun in winter. An easy going and robust species.
