25 (35)cm, makes small pale beige and mauve to pale mauve-green flowers on upright stems. Native of rocky soils from Caledon through South Africa and Zimbabwe. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Requires a good winter protection (i.e. dry mulch layer). Best grown in pots under frostfree conditions in a cool greenhouse or wintergarden with reduced watering and a winter minimum of some 5°C. VII-VIII. More Details » |
