A rare tropical, almost evergreen species with a very tall, almost tree-like, white spotted, fresh green stem and a broad, dark green, umbrella-like single leaf. The flower is composed of a large spathe (out pseudo petal), green outside and reddish inside, and a rose spadix (inner club) up to 150cm in height ! Adult specimens may develop a flower every 3 years and may flower the first time after five of sowing. For a partially shaded spot and not below 25°C throughout the year, with a high air humidity and good air circulation. For any humus rich and very well drained soil. Reduce watering to a minimum when the old leaf starts to yellow. <br>Sow seeds on receipt horizontally some 1cm deep in a well drained, only slightly moist soil at some 25°C to 30°C in a sunny spot. A demanding species for the connoisseur !<br /><br /> <a href="../../product.asp?P_ID=8243&amp;numLanguageID=1">More Details &#187;</a></td> </tr> </table> <table border=0 cellpadding=5 cellspacing=0 width=400> <tr> <td><br />versions:</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="small bold">seed package - 1068</td> </tr> </table> </body> </html>
