Allium vineale
40 (60)cm, different Allium with most decorative "flower-heads" of densely packed, dark reddish bulbils crowned by glossy, dark green hair-like leaves, all hold on an erect, dark green stem. A very nice form of this C European native, rarely making a couple of greenish white flowers. Will gradually increase under a sunny condition in the rock garden, where this form will not become invasive. VI-VII.Seeds and bulbils are not available for a delivery to the U.S.
