Es ist dem nah verwandten Aeonium lindleyi relativ ähnlich, und wie der Name es besagt, sind seine Blätter klebrig, ohne jedoch sichtbare Drüsenhaare zu besitzen. Die Blätter sind von frisch grüner Farbe. Es wächst eher niedrig bis zu einer Höhe von 20cm mit Rosetten von weniger als 10cm ø. Bildet gelbe Blüten im September und Oktober. Eine recht weit verbreitete Art in la Gomera (Hilva, Monte del Agua, 600m), wo es an schattigen Felsstandorten anzutreffen ist.
