200 (250)cm, Great Coneflower or Cabbage Leaf Coneflower is an impressive herbaceous perennial with unusual, most ornamental, bluish-grey, very long, paddle-like leaves arranged in a dense basal rosette. The upright stalk is topped by several rich yellow flowers with a central elongated brownish-black cone. It is native of meadows in south-central USA. Easily grown in a rich, well drained soil in full sun. VII-IX.
