Swainsona cadellii (Woodland Pea)

40 (100)cm, Woodland Pea is a showy perennial from south-estern Australia where it occurs in open spots in woods. Swainsona cadelii makes prostrate shoots with glaucous green, narrowly feathered leaves and terminal spikes with ornamental rich pink flowers with a white eye. For any rich, very well drained, preferably inorganic substrate in full sun throughout the year with reduced watering in winter at a minimum of some 20°C if grown as a perennial. III-VI.
