150 (300)cm, Andalusian Dutchman's Pipe is an evergreen twining perennial with a woody base and ovoid, grayish green leaves and dark maroon brown flowers. Native of sun-exposed sites in Andalusia (Spain) and Northern Africa. Best grown in a sunny, protected spot in a very well drained soil with some winter protection. Alternatively excellently grown as a pot plant in a cool, yet frostfree greenhouse or wintergarden at a minimum of some 5°C. VII-XII.
