100cm, Caucasus Scabiosa makes most ornamental, very large lavender blue flower heads on upright stalks above hairy foliage in a basale rosette. This perennial species is native of subalpine meadows in the northern Caucasus and Transcausus (Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia). Easily cultivated in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot.
