10 (20)cm, Dune Germander is a half hardy perennial with a woody base from sandy soils in the vicinity of the sea in the western Mediterranean. It has narrow, toothed grayish-green to dark green, fragrant leaves and short terminal racemes of bright rose flowers. For any rich, well drained, substrate on a sand basis in full sun throughout the year. Best grown under frost free conditions with reduced watering in winter at a minimum of some 5°C. V-VII.
