3 (7)m, Servicetree is a tall woody shrub to small tree with broadly feathered, leathery, dark green leaves and showy, edible yellowish-red fruits in late summer and early autumn. It is native throughout Europe, Northern Africa and Western Asia and has become increasingly rare. Easily grown in any rich, well drained soil in a partially shaded to sunny spot. III-IV.
