100 (150)cm, Roselle is an annual, beautiful Hibiscus with white flowers in the offered form with a purple-red throat on reddish peduncles, followed by scarlet seed capsules. Unripe capsules are used in teas (Hibiscus tea) for their sour flavor. Mature, dry capsules turn beige and are not suitable for teas. Precultivation under glass in spring at some 20°C, either transplant to the open garden to any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot after last cold nights end of spring or grow as a container plant.
