20 (30)cm, Bald Stemmed Globeflower is a winter hardy, evergreen perennial from mountain meadows and rock crevices in the Pyrenees, the Alps and the Balkans. It makes upright stalks with rich blue flowers above quite broad, glossy leaves in a dense basal rosette. Easily cultivated in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Excellent in the rock garden. USDA climate zone 6. V-VI.
