30 (50)cm, a beautiful Arisaema species with a large broad umbrella like leaf and a deep brown, almost black large spathe, greyish outside with darl brown spots and a long, protruding black spadix. For any humus rich, very well drained soil with some excellent winter protection. In colder regions preferably grow in pots under frostfree conditions in a sunny spot throughout the year. During dormancy in winter keep plants almost completely dry at some 10°C. USDA Climate Zone 9. IV-V.
