15cm, Purple Flowered Bubblegum Mouseplant is a slightly larger form of the common Pinellia cordata with plain green, broad cordate leaves. It makes a yellowish-green spathe with a rosy-violet shade inside and a protruding pale green spadix. The inflorescence shows a strong, pleasantly sweet, bubblegum-like fragrance - thus we gave it the name "Purple Flowered Bubblegum Mouseplant". For any humus rich soil in a partially shaded spot. Best grown in pots under frostfree conditions, in winter during dormancy keep soil almost dry. Tubers can be stored dry in the fridge at some 5°C to 7°C during winter. It naturally makes very small tubers, 1.0 cm tubers are flowering size already! V-VIII.
