30 (50)cm, a most beautiful, midsized species with smooth, dark green, broad leaflets, sometimes shaded purple, and showy rose margins, and a stunning, cream white spathe with a fox brown to pale rose and very long spadix. A variable species concerning leaf stalk patterns, we offer only superior selections with very dark green leaves and showy dark purplish leaf stalks. Native of rich, well drained soils in woods in North Central Thailand (Sara Buri). This species makes elongated, vertical rhizomatous corms, the size is given as length. In winter keep dormant corms almost completely dry at a minimum of some 15°C. Our tubers are from excellently grown plants cultivated in Europe and not cheap imported tubers from Asia, which may have been wrongly stored and/or may be infected with fungal diseases! VI-VII.
