Solanum sodomaeum (Apple of Sodom)

50cm, Apple of Sodom is native of South Africa, ornamental plant with large, dark purple flowers above undulated, dark green leaves and spiny stems. Flowers are followed by tomato-like, bright yellowish-orange fruits (toxic). Grow as a pot plant. Keep cooler at a minimum of 15°C in a sunny spot in winter, reduce watering. VI-VIII.
