50 (90)cm, medium sized species native of moist places in the Kamiesberg (Namaqualand). Makes most ornamental, pendulous, yellow flowers with nicely contrasting red anthers above narrow leaves. Best grown in a humus rich, well drained soil in pots under frostfree conditions in a cool greenhouse or wintergarden.
