20 (30)cm, Eithea (syn. Griffiniopsis blumenavium) is a rarely cultivated and utmost showy amaryllid from the state of São Paulo (Brazil). It has broad grasslike leaves and pale rose flowers with dark rose middle stripes. An easily grown bulbous species for any humus rich, well drained soil in a partially shaded (summer) to sunny (winter) spot. Keep plants slightly drier during dormancy at a minimum of some 15°C throughout the year.
