100cm, Plains Yucca is a rarely cultivated species with very long, twisted bluish green leaves in a very dense, usually stemless basal to short stemmed rosette and an upright inflorescense with pendulous greenish white flowers, sometimes with a pink flush. Native of deep sandy soils in a restricted small area in Howard, Ector, Midland and Ward Counties in western Texas, USA. For any rich, well drained, preferably slightly sandy soil in a protected spot in full sun. VI-VII.
