50 (100)cm, Tupa rosada is a herbaceous mountainous perennial from Chile with upright stems ending in a raceme with showy pink, funnel shaped flowers. For any rich, very well drained, rocky soil in a sunny spot. It is reasonably hardy in Central Europe, yet requires protection from winter wetness and give some extra winter protection (e.g. dry mulch layer). VI-VII.
