30 (50)cm, a very rare subalpine species from the Caldera mountain range on La Palma growing at some 1.900m. Makes a short, woody shrub with grayish green, elongated leaves and bright lilac flowers. For any rocky, well drained substrate in a sunny spot throughout the year. Ideal for the unheated alpine house or cold wintergarden. Keep plants drier in winter. USDA Climate Zone 10. VI-VIII.
