70 (150)cm, Grey Leaved Cistus is a rose-pink flowering rockrose with silvery-grayish green, densely hairy, narrow oval leaves. Native of stony, dryish hillsides and open pine forests in North Africa and south-western Europe. For any well drained, sandy to rocky soil in a protected spot in full sun. Give some winter protection to younger plants. Seeds from a wild collection western Mallorca, Spain (Sant Elm) at some 350m. USDA Climate Zone 8. IV-V.
