2 (7)m, Red Maracuyá has very aromatic fruits with a red shell. The flesh is a little bit sour and excellently suited to prepare some delicious juices. Seeds from a plantation near the village of Garzón (Departamento de Huila, Colombia). Easier in cultivation than the smaller fruited Passiflora edulis f. edulis as it is more cold tolerant. Requires a minimum of some 15°C in winter in an always sunny spot.
