Sparaxis auriculata

20 (35)cm, a rare and threatened species know from three localities only at the base of the Gifberg and Matsikamma mountains in the Southwest Cape in South Africa. It produces bilaterally symmetrical flowers with white, pale yellow and pale violett petals. Easily grown in any rich, well drained substrate in a sunny spot and a winter minimum of some 15°C. IV-V.
