Cubanola domingensis (Dominican Campanita)

120 (200)cm, Dominican Campanita (syn. Portlandia domingensis) is a small evergreen shrubs endemic to the Dominican Republic. It has glossy, leathery foliage and showy, pendant, fragrant, creamy-white trumpet flowers with a slightly greenish tinge. For any rich, well drained soil in a partially shaded (summer) to sunny (winter) spot at a minimum of some 20°C in winter and careful watering. Seeds of Cubanola domingensis have to be stored slightly moist, else they will lose viability rather quickly or they may need more than one year for germination. Our seeds are stored accoirdingly and they will be shipped wrapped up slightly moist. III-X.
