20 (30)cm, subspecies native of Greece (Rhodes and Chios) and Cyprus differing in its either lighter purplish blotching on a pale green or entirely greenish spathe with a purplish lower border and a tall blackish spadix. The glossy leaves sometimes show some slight white veining. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Original collection from a population in Perikklishia, Cyprus at some 350m. V-VI.
