40 (80)cm, Shiso belongs to a monotypic Asian genus and is widely cultivated throughout Asia for its aromatic leaves with serrated margins and a basil-mint like flavor. Fresh leaves are used in several traditional Asian dishes. Easily grown in any rich, well drained substrate in pots in a sunny (winter) to partial shaded (summer) spot and a winter minimum of some 15°C with careful watering. VII-IX.
