30 (50)cm, Spanish Sage is a semi-woody perennial dwarf shrub with very aromatic, lavender-like, grayish green leaves and lose spikes of large purplish blue to mauve blue flowers. It is native of dryish, rocky spots from central and southern Spain to south-western France. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny, preferably protected spot. USDA Climate Zone 7/8. VI-VIII.
