Anisodontea (Cape Mallow)

Cape Mallows are fast growing annuals to semi-woody perennials from South Africa. They make floriferous pot plants and are easily grown in any well drained, slightly humus rich soil in a sunny spot. If grown as perennials reduce watering to a minimum in winter and keep plants at a minimum of some 15°C in full sun.
Sow at some 20°C throughout the year in any well drained, yet humus rich soil. Seed will germinate within 2 to 4 weeks at room temperature. Keep seedlings in full sun, especially in winter.
