Semiaquilegia (False Aquilegia)

Semi-Columbine, dwarf filigree plants similar to the real Columbine. Native of eastern Asia and well suited for any partially shaded to sunny spot in humus rich soil.
Sow in early spring to mid summer. Will flower the following year. Still being an almost unknown genus.
All are USDA Climate Zone 6.

It is native of western China (Gansu, Szechuan and Shensi) where it grows in mossy woodland soils. For any partially shaded to sunny spot in any humus rich, always slightly moist, yet well drained soil. IV-V.
