Hunnemannia (Mexican Tulip Poppy)

Tulip Poppy is an utmost beautiful annual species from Mexico (Chihuahuan Desert and south to central Mexico) and makes very large, bright orange yellow flowers above deeply divided bluish-green foliage. It is easily cultivated in any rich, well drained soil in full sun and has a very long flower period until the first feezings in autumn.
Sow flat in any rich, well drained soil in pots in mid spring at a minimum of some 20°C. Carefully transplant seedlings to the garden after the last freezing nights.
