Hyacinthoides (Bluebells)

Bluebells are bulbous plants from woods across Europe to Asia Minor. They will naturalize readily in a partially shaded place in a leafy soil.
Sow flat autumn to spring in any well drained, rocky soil. Keep pots in full sun in a protected place. Transplant small bulbs after foliage has died down in July/August. Most Hyacinthoides will flower within their third year.
All are USDA Climate Zone 6 unless otherwise specified.
