Glory-of-the-Snow or Snowstars prefer a sunny spot in a well drained position. Spread freely and flower early in spring, sometimes even through a snow layer.
Sow flat autumn to late spring in any well drained, rocky or sandy soil. Keep pots in a sheltered and sunny spot in winter. Transplant young bulbs best in fall of their second year. Most Chionodoxa will start to flower in their third year. Will freely self sow under good conditions.
