Gardenia

Gardenia is a broad tropical genus with several outstanding woody shrubs with leathery, glossy leaves and strongly fragrant white to cream flowers. Several species are cultivated in pots or containers for their beautiful flowers and evergreen foliage. For any rich, well drained substrate in a sunny spot. In winter keep plants drier at a minimum of some 10°C with reduced watering.
Sow flat in any rich, well drained soil at a minimum of some 20°C throughout the year.
