Hyssopus (Ysop)

Hyssop (Ysop) is a monotypic genus. Attractive, bushy plant with numerous purplish-blue flowers, attracting bees and butterflies.
Sow flat in any soil in autumn to early summer in any well drained soil in full sun. Germination occurs at a minimum of some 15°C.
All are USDA Climate Zone 6.

Hyssopus officinalis var. canescens (Yssop)

30 (50)cm, Hyssop has dense, dark green, lanceolate leaves on woody perennial branches with numerous violet flowers at the beginning of summer.
