Sempervivum make highly decorative small to medium sized succulent rosettes of triangular leaves, some are densely covered by silvery-white hairs, other have glaucous leaves or will turn bright red in full sun. From Central Europe to mountainous areas of W Asia, absolutely hardy in contrast to close subtropical related genus Aeonium from Canary Islands.
Sow dust-like seeds very thin on any well drained, rather rocky soil in full sun at 15-20°C in spring. Do not cover seeds, always water from beneath. Unlike uncountable more or less robust hybrids, the real, very robust species offered here are hardly know or very rare.
All are USDA Climate Zone 6.
50 seeds per package.
