On this page you can buy seeds at just € 0,99 per package. The great majority of these you will not find anywhere else at this all-time low price! All seeds offered in this category are exclusively harvested from our own cultivated plants. Our cultivation as well as the seed collection are organized in a very efficient way. Also, we only process large seed batches at once, which greatly reduces labor costs. Thus we can reduce the price to an absolute minimum. From time to time you will also find here free seed packages or a limited quantity of packages at a reduced special price from certain species, which usually sell at a higher price. Just normal shipping costs have to be paid, and a handling fee of maximum € 5,00 will apply on orders with a value below € 20,00 (excluding shipping costs). Brugmansia versicolor (White Angel Trumpet)3 (5)m, White Angel Trumpet is a tall, semi-woody shrub from South America where it is extinct in the wild. It produces showy, very large (up to 40 cm in length, the largest in the genus!), pendulous, pure white flower trumpets, which stay either white (our plants) or mature to peach, pink, or apricot. Flowers are are heavily sweet scented at night. Fruits are very thin and elongated, in comparison to fusiform (spindle shaped) fruits in Brugmansia insignis, Brugmansia suaveolens, and Brugmansia x candida, respectively to ovoid fruits in Brugmansia arborea. Our seeds are from pure white flowering plants with up to 25cm long fruits. In cultivation it prefers a humus rich, freely draining soil and a fresh spot at a winter minimum of some 15°C. Note: seeds from this species had been offered as Brugmansia suaveolens in the past, yet after some more research our plants have finally been correctly identified as Brugmansia versicolor. II-XI. |

Bursera fagaroides (Torchwood Copal)50 (120)cm, Torchwood Copal or Fragrant Bursera is a small caudex plant from central to north-western Mexico, formerly also extending into southern Arizona (USA), where this species is now regarded extinct. Older specimens of Bursera fagaroides form a showy massive trunk with a peeling bark and arching narrow branches. It has pinnate leaves and small inconspicuous flowers followed by lilac-red fruits containing a single seed each. The entire plant is highly fragrant when bruised. For its small size it makes a perfect pot plant and is valued as high priced bonsai plant. |
