Pycnospatha palmata

20cm, an extremely rare species in cultivation as well as in habitat, where it is native in a very restricted area in Thailand. It makes a basal brownish red spathe with a nodding tip, hiding a short spadix inside. It has palmately divided leaves. For any humus rich, very well drained susbtrate in a sunny spot.
