Cuminum (Cumin)

Cumin has been used for several thousand years for its' brown seeds which have a typical, very strong taste. These are used either fresh or roasted in various dishes throughout the worlds, especially in India, the Arabian region and South America. Plants are grown as annuals in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot.
Sow seeds flat directly in any well drained, humus-rich soil in a sunny site in the garden in spring. Cover seeds only slightly with soil.
